Trust is very important in any relationship. Trust can determine if you decide to let someone babysit your child or use your credit card.

Trust in a business, however, is a completely different matter.

If your employer doesn’t trust you, you are never going to get very far in the business. Your chances of getting a promotion are very slim; you wont get anywhere. Isn’t it part of the goal of a good job to get as far as you can? If you can’t trust your employee you will never feel at ease and you wont get very far even if it your business. In almost any successful business the boss most likely had a right hand man that he trusted very much. He had someone he could ask anything of and he knew it would get done.

If you are going to start a business, you need this kind of relationship. If you don’t have thins you most likely wont get very big because nobody can do everything. You need somebody you can delegate to because if you try to do it all yourself you are going to run out of time and energy. So you need to trust this person.

Now when you are a business man, unless you make your own product you will need to buy from a corporation and you sell it in your own store. You need to buy from a company you can trust. You don’t want to get jipped or played. You need to be able to trust that when you are getting their product you and your customers are getting a good product. You don’t want your customers to get mad at you and you don’t want to get mad at the other guy. So yes trust is very important in a business relationship.
